Carbex 2512-40-SW-KIT sandwich carbon grounding brush kit for wind turbine generator shaft grounding. Unique sandwich structure combines silver graphite for low contact resistance and electrographite for self-lubrication. Safely bleed stray shaft currents to ground, prevent bearing electrical erosion, stable performance in harsh offshore environments. Direct replacement equivalent to Schunk 10697850, full assembly kit ready for installation.

Description

The Carbex 2512-40-SW-KIT Carbon Sandwich Grounding Brush is a complete pre-assembled shaft grounding brush kit specially engineered for wind turbine generators. Featuring advanced sandwich composite construction, the brush integrates silver graphite layer for ultra-low contact resistance and electrographite layer for excellent self-lubricating sliding performance. This grounding brush creates a reliable conductive path to divert harmful stray shaft currents away from generator rolling bearings to ground. It effectively avoids electrical pitting, grooves and premature bearing failure, reducing turbine downtime and expensive wind farm maintenance costs. The brush block is pre-machined with R140mm radius profile to perfectly match large generator shaft surface. The kit comes fully assembled with carbon sandwich brush block, constant force spring and insulated flexible copper lead.
