Carbex 7090-40-SW-KIT sandwich carbon grounding brush kit for wind turbine shaft grounding. Dual-layer sandwich structure combines silver graphite for ultra-low contact resistance and electrographite for self-lubrication. Safely bleeds stray shaft currents to ground, prevents bearing electrical damage, stable performance in harsh offshore environments. Direct drop-in replacement equivalent to Schunk S13/F19, fully assembled kit ready for installation.

Description

The Carbex 7090-40-SW-KIT Carbon Sandwich Grounding Brush is a complete pre-assembled shaft grounding brush kit specially engineered for wind turbine generators. It adopts advanced sandwich composite construction: silver graphite layer delivers ultra-low contact resistance for reliable current diversion, while electrographite layer provides excellent self-lubricating sliding performance to reduce shaft wear. This grounding brush creates a dependable conductive path to divert harmful stray shaft currents away from generator rolling bearings to ground. It effectively avoids electrical pitting, grooving and premature bearing failure, greatly cutting wind turbine downtime and expensive wind farm maintenance costs. The brush block is pre-machined with R70mm radius profile to perfectly match generator shaft surface. The kit comes fully assembled with sandwich carbon brush block, constant force spring and insulated flexible copper lead. Widely used on Siemens, Nordex, Senvion, Loher, Winergy, VEM and Vestas onshore & offshore wind turbines. It serves as drop-in replacement for Schunk S13/F19.
